    It’s Better Together! We are most thankful that God has built such a beautiful community at Upward Bound Camp, so it is only fitting to celebrate together! If you are able, please bring a side dish or dessert to share! Our meal together will start at 1:30pm.

Fall Fundraiser Event!

A HUGE shout out and thank you to all who were able to join us for a night of Peace, Love, and Happiness as we celebrated 45 years of Upward Bound Camp! Your support means so much to everyone involved with UBC and especially our campers! It was a blessed night of good food, fun, music and love! We hope everyone that was able to come had a wonderful time and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Upward Bound supports the belief that every person is important, created by God, worthy of love and caring service. UBC gives every participant opportunities to realize and share their gifts and strengths with each other.

Our Values

Since 1978 UBC has worked to establish a diverse community of campers, staff and volunteers, intentionally building a strong and inclusive community, promoting respect and understanding of all who participate. UBC staff and board members actively cultivate relationships with business and community members in the Santiam Canyon and beyond in a sincere and conscious effort to expand the understanding of community, acceptance and inclusion, enriching the lives of all participants.

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of Upward Bound Camp is to provide on-going Christian based recreational and educational camp experiences for persons with disabilities, twelve years of age and over in an environment that presents opportunities for growth outside the individual’s usual routine or habitat.

There are many ways to enjoy what Upward Bound Camp has to offer. We have Day Camps, Individual Camper Retreats, and Overnight Summer Camps that run from June through September.
